Laser Acne Scars Treatment

The deep acne scars are the result of tissue destruction and often as a response to “picking” which most acne sufferers find difficult to resist.

The injection that causes the inflammation literally “kills” skin cells and support tissue and destroys that area of the skin.

Acne scars after being red or hyper-pigmented eventually they fade to a normal or near-normal skin color.

For deep acne scars: Rolling scars, Box scars, Ice-pick scars, we use Fractional CO2 Laser (SmartXide).

There are several less invasive procedures for minimal or temporary improvement like: Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peel, Cosmelan, Green Peel, Dermal fillers but the treatment of choice is determined on a case by case basis.
